11/6/2022 0 Comments Nfs shift 2 unleashed drift![]() ![]() I would consider myself to be a racing game enthusiast. Shift 2: unleashed is in my top 3 favorite racing games for Xbox 360. I still want to hear from sombody using a wheel setup in this game. I am and always have been a video game junky, so I know from easy to way more difficult than needs to be. In fact almost all PS3/XBOX next gen titles I have played have been very, very easy. As far as most other NFS titles, they are what they are, arcade racers that can't be too hard or they won t sell. As soon as you get frusterated and mad your done, you will never win angry. And I am impatient, it took a few hours to get to a point of understanding. Shift 2 not so much, it has some very challanging races as cars are really well matched. so as I have stated, if you want somthing easy to race around with and some customization to boot go with Forza or GT5, both are extremely easy games. Some races I was quite happy to get second, third, forth. Many, many restarts in order to keep everything as gold as possible. I am about 74-75% complete and there are some tough races. Different views for different corners and situations works well for me. Hmmm, changing the view does help quite a bit actually. I am at level 20 35% complete and am having a B**** of a time getting ahead. Just like real racing you cannot come back from 12th place and retake the lead generally. I'll say it again, Shifty 2 relies heavily on you getting up front very early on and keeping the lead. In a real race you don't blast the competition away. Neither is Shift 2 for that matter, but it is much closer. I don t know where people got the idea that Forza and GT5 are real racing games. If you want to check many cars and tracks then Forza and GT5 are great games. For people who like to just jump in the car and race this is not the game for you. I have not had a chellenging race game like this in a long while. That I find was not a good idea because it's not always you that cuts the corner, you get knocked around pretty good in this game. ![]() Also, the other thing to keep in mind is that it takes very little to cut the corner and cancel your autolog score. Also if the AI cars contact you, there seems to be no way of pulling out and away from them, that I find somewhat irksome. The AI cars are very aggressive in this game, takes some getting used to. Yes, having the AI cars ramming you is different for sure. You will figure it out and it becomes easier to win and you will come to love the fights for the flag. It's a lot harder than Shift 1, but you will like it much much better if you stick with it. I am at level 16 with about 1.5 million bucks. I am now winning most races but about 50% of the tracks I need to restart a couple times until I figure out where the AI cars will make their mistakes. The guy that you need to beat to win his muscle car (Need for Speed Mustang) is actually easy. The computer cars don t make many mistakes, but they do make the odd mistake and you have to be ready to jump on it. Once your passed by one two or more cars it's almost immpossible to reagain fisrt place. You need to almost always get intoi fisrt right off the bat. Turn just ahead of twhere the line tells you. About ten races in I started to play much better. once you get a feels for the corners you will do better it takes some time. This game is certainly harder than Shift 1 to play, but I am about 27% complete and have figured most of it out without having to play too much with the settings. ![]()
